Don't Panic Design

Last year I noticed a new trend in holiday cards. Ok, it might not have been new, but I thought it was awesome - the holiday newsletter card.  Just a little snippet of your year with highlights, maybe photos, and well wishes for the past and new year.  I think it's a fun way to share your year with friends and relatives you don't get to see enough, but it also helps you focus on what to share.  Did you move, how old are your kids, did you take a big trip, or have a professional win? It keeps you from spending a lot of time agonizing over what details to share, so you can get done faster, and get back to your day during this busy time of year. Here's a few I was inspired to make. It's the time of year that people all over the world wait for: the holiday season.  Regardless of how you celebrate, this festive time of year is a time of family gatherings, sharing food, and fun.  Here in the Northern part of the Northern hemisphere, we have cold weather and often have snow. ( I hate the cold, and I'm not fan of snow - you have to wear so many more clothes...if I could live my whole life without wearing socks, I totally would. I don't know whey I still live here. It must be Montana summer amnesia.  By the time I remember I hate winter, it's too late to move.  I mean, really, who wants to move in the winter. ) Even though I'm not snow's biggest fan, much like how the seasons mark the passing of time, snow helps it feel like winter, and Christmas. Your Christmas just got a little more fun. When you get ready to wrap your gifts and stack them under the tree, the final touch is a beautiful and fun gift tag you print, cut, and sign.  These are easy to cut out and attach with tape, underneath a bow, or punch a hole and tie in with colored string or ribbon.
